All Foss Park District facilities are operating based on the order of Governor Pritzker with guidelines based on Phase 4.

FOSS PARK DISTRICT SUMMER CAMP will offer a modified Summer Day Camp following the Illinois Department of Human Services and CDC guidance for childcare.
Please read carefully the rules:
Summer Day Camp will operate Monday-Friday from 6:30am-5:30pm
Extended camp is 6:30am-5:30pm $145.00/weekly
Regular camp from 9:00am-3:00pm $115.00/weekly
Discounts offered to parents who enroll siblings.
June 8th-August 7th, 2020. We will not have camp on July 3, 2020.
Summer Day Camp is open to children ages 5-14.

  • Pre-Registration is required.
  • Registration must be done in person ONLY. (Limited Space is available).
  • Registration Dates: Children who wants to attend Foss Park District Summer Camp may register Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm
  • Cost: Registration requires one week paid in full, and a $15 nonrefundable deposit is required to register.
  • All children who attend the Summer Camp must go through our Covid-19 Sanitation procedures, which will include:
  • Children must wear a face covering at all times and utilize hand sanitizing station.
  • No children should come to day camp if they have ANY signs of illness.
  • If a child becomes sick at camp, they will immediately receive isolation from the other children and Parents will have two hours to arrange pick up after notification by Camp Director.
  • Failure to pick up your child promptly will forfeit attendance at day camp.
  • Children will be assigned a small group of less than 10 with a counselor/Staff and have an assigned "Classroom" separate from other groups. After Sanitation
    clearance upon entry (during check in) the children will proceed to assigned
    classroom and parents will not be allowed inside the classrooms. The front desk   
    will be the pickup and drop-off location. Each child must bring a face covering  
  • Children will receive a free breakfast and lunch daily.
  • All Counselors will wear a face covering, even when playing games.
  • A schedule of daily rotation and assignments will be prepared each week and posted in the classroom.
  • Each counselor will have gloves, first aid items, face coverings and a bottle of hand sanitizer.

Children Must be picked up from the Pickup Location at the Front Desk Area by 5:30pm.

Catholic Charities
At Catholic Charities we are finding ways to feed seniors, 60 years of age or better.
During the Covid 19  situation we have a new program where we have To-Go meals
for pick up at North Chicago City Hall parking lot.
At a glance:
Requirements: Must be 60 or better (the spouse of any age) any religion or no religion,
any income level, just 60 or better
Seniors do need to register with Catholic Charities (can do this by phone)
Must call and reserve their meals (3 meals per person for suggested donation of $8.00)
Starting Wednesday, May 13, 2020
Pick up time is between 10 am and 12 pm
